Clean shower house, very quiet, wooded, peaceful sites. Helpful, accommodating staff. Always enjoyable.

We were assigned campsite 41D, but because the road to that campsite was too bumpy and damaging for our car (normal sedan), we switched to another campsite (36D). The sites are not too close to each other. The area for the tents was boxed and raised. The campsites have a picnic table and a fire pit made of rocks. Our site also had a small bathroom near it, but I didn't check it out since the shower house was so close.

I think the main office closes at 7pm. We showed up a little later. There is a mailbox next to the office to pick up your reservation envelope. The campground also has a pond and a playground.

Great place to camp. Beautiful grounds with designated tent sites. My campsite was right next to the small lake. Beautiful place not far away!

It's $32/night for a double pad tent site of $22/night for a single pad. If I ever do another overnight bouldering trip at Coopers, I'd stay here again.

We stayed at Chestnut Ridge Campground for one night in April. Besides a few trailer campers, this campground was pretty much empty of other tent campers. It's big, beautiful campground.

The staff is AWESOME! They bend over backwards to make sure you have a great stay.

I was so surprised when I walked into their shower house. I was prepared to be grossed out and see bugs everywhere and freeze my butt off after showering, but it was the completely opposite! It was so clean, new, and also heated. It was like you're not even camping! There are four shower stalls and two toilet stalls. Plus, they have a hand drier, which I used as a hair dryer too.

Love camping here. Been twice. Great experience both times. Hot showers are a plus if you're in the area for climbing.
